VIA PO
Turin's wide, straight avenue, lined with bookstores, offers a view of the arcades and piazza Vittorio Veneto.
Wide and straight, lined with booksellers, it is frequented by students from the neighbouring university. It was here that Nietzsche had his famous and final crisis of madness in 1889. The arcades on the left side, corresponding to the King's Way, are never interrupted, while on the right side they stop at the crossroads. Before arriving on the banks of the River Po, make a stop in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, one of the largest squares in Europe. Here trendy cafés and fashion boutiques follow one another along the arcades that slope down to the river.
