VIA ROMA
A very busy street with beautiful stores, ideal for strolling and shopping.
The Via Roma is to Turin what the Champs-Elysées is to Paris. Central axis of the city, it is one of the privileged places of Turin for walking and shopping. It was built in the 17th century and was formerly called Contrada Nuova because it connected Piazza Castello to a new city wall, Porta Nuova, which was replaced in 1861 by the station named after it. Today, with its beautiful shops, the Via Roma is a very active street. Under its arcades you can find the most beautiful Italian and international brands.
