Small and very old square with a strange bronze statue in the center
In the center of this ancient little square (it has been the seat of public administration since 1472), your gaze will immediately be drawn to the strange bronze statue of a knight brandishing a sword, while at his feet two enemies lie dead. This is Count Verde, i.e. Amédée VI of Savoie, triumphing over the infidels during the Eastern Wars in 1366. It was made in 1853 by Pelagio Palagi. Behind the statue stands Turin's town hall, an elegant 18th-century edifice.

Belle place et spectaculaire sculpture. L immeuble à l anneau percé se trouve non loin.
