LINGOTTO
This revolutionary Fiat factory, with a test track on the roof, has been transformed into a shopping center and art gallery.
Built by Giacomo Matté-Trucco from 1917 to 1923, the first Fiat factory was transformed by Renzo Piano into a commercial and exhibition center. Climb to the top floor to see the former Fiat car test track. On the right, there's a strange bubble-shaped construction reminiscent of a spaceship: this is the conference room used for Fiat meetings, complete with helicopter landing pad. Suspended from the roof, the Pinacoteca Gianni e Marella Agnelli, the "jewel box", contains 25 precious works of art.
