Formerly a military arsenal and weapons factory, this vast structure was transformed in 1983 into the "arsenal of peace" or "metropolitan monastery". A cultural hub where different cultures meet, the center has become a point of reference for many young people in search of meaning in their lives. Its function is to welcome immigrants and Italians 24 hours a day. The fully restored structure also remains an astonishing venue for conferences and debates, with several craft and music workshops.
