FONDAZIONE MERZ
Fascinating space in the southwest of the city presenting works from Turin and elsewhere.
In 2005, Beatrice Merz inaugurated this fascinating space in the southwest of the city, in the Borgo San Paolo district, dedicated to the great Turin artist Mario Merz (1925-2003), one of the greatest exponents of Arte Povera. Mario Merz has always maintained a close link with Turin, and his works adorn the city, such as theIgloo Fontana, between Corso Lione and Corso Mediterraneo, and the luminous Volo dei Numeri on the dome of the Mole Antonelliana, illuminated on the occasion of Luci d'Artista in November.
