CAFFÈ FIORIO
One of the city's oldest historic cafés, dating back to 1780, widely renowned for its delicious ice cream.
This historic café, which has been in existence since 1780, has a fine reputation, not only because it was here that Cavour founded the Whist Club in 1841, but also for its succulent ice creams: there are queues on the sidewalk to sample its gelati, which Nietzsche was particularly fond of. And the gianduja is divine! Since its creation, it has been a great success with the people of Turin, and has preserved its atmosphere and the charm of its 19th-century decor, with its numerous adjoining rooms, mirrors, light fittings and waiters in dress.
