CAPPELLA DI SANT'ANDREA
Chapel with a magnificent cycle of frescoes attributed to the Serra workshop.
The chapel, located in the hamlet of Ramats, houses a magnificent cycle of frescoes attributed to the Serra workshop. The cycle that adorns the apse depicts thirteen scenes from the life of Saint Andrew, as lavish in their design as in their colours and dramatic intensity, especially in the representation of the apostle's condemnation and martyrdom. Recent restoration work has revealed a magnificent Annunciation on the triumphal arch. The whole decoration would date from the end of the 15th century.
