Pinacoteca transformed into a museum exhibiting about 200 works of contemporary painters
The pinacoteca is located in the palace of the same name, restored in the 1970s to turn it into a museum, which is located in the historic centre of the village. About two hundred works by Giuseppe Augusto Levis (1873-1926), a painter born in Chiomonte who was a pupil of Lorenzo Delleani, a Piedmontese painter famous for his landscape paintings at the end of the 19th century. Some rooms adjoining the museum are dedicated to the works of contemporary Piedmontese painters, with the aim of making them known.
