CHIESA SANT'ANTONIO ABATE DU CHAMPLAS DU COL
Small church with a pulpit dating from 1747 and a wooden altarpiece with beautiful fluted columns from the 17th century.
The small church of Champlas du Col, a hamlet attached to the commune of Sestrières, was built in 1672. Its facade is very simple, only surmounted by a small bell tower, in a very mountainous sobriety. Inside there is a pulpit dating from 1747 and a wooden altarpiece with beautiful fluted columns from the 17th century. It is dedicated to Saint Anthony the Great, a famous hermit... A patronage rather well found for this place of altitude!
