Natural mountain park offering horseback riding and hiking
Created in 1980, the Val Troncea Natural Park occupies 3,280 ha of mountain (up to 3,000 m above sea level) at the headwaters of the Chisone torrent and its tributaries. That's where the ancient chalcopyrite mines of Bet are located. They contained copper ores, the wealth of the valley until the end of the 19th century. Mountain bikes can be used on all the tracks in the park, but not on the trails, which are reserved for horse riding and hiking.
