The museum exhibition recounts the history of the local community, mining activities and the lives of minors. You can see clothes, tools, materials, photographs and the screening of a film. More than 3 kilometres of recently deserted galleries have been set up to allow this visit in situ. Two mines are open to visit: the mine Gianna and the mine Paola, which requires to travel a few kilometers of galleries. Expect an average of 2 or 3 hours. The guides speak French.
Mine Paola. 11 € per person, free for children between the ages of 3 and 5. Book in advance and think of taking hot clothes. The visit lasts 2 hours and starts on the small train of the miners, to continue on foot, along the extraction yards.
