Celebrated Pellice is home to an important wildlife protection area, the Oasi del Barant. As hunting is regulated, the area abounds in chamois, ibex, deer, boars, small mammals, eagles, bartavelles, mountain pheasants, marmots. Perhaps you will see the very rare Lanza Salamander.

For V.T.T. buffs, a superb route passes between the villages (frazione) of Celebrated Pellice. And beautiful hikes await walkers.
