Square with neoclassical facades, bars and restaurants in the heart of Aosta.
Located in the heart of Aosta, Place Émile Chanoux (formerly Place Charles-Albert) dates back to the 19th century. Its neoclassical yellow, pink and white facades, particularly that of the town hall with its arcades, give it a distinctive character. In front of the building, punctuated by columns and a tympanum, two statues symbolize Aosta's two rivers: the Doire Baltée and the Buthier. A meeting place for local youth. A large number of terraces, bars and restaurants occupy the square during the summer months.
