The Société des Guides offers guided hiking, mountaineering and off-piste skiing. In winter, it organizes snowshoe excursions. Its offices include a museum, inaugurated in 1929 by Louis-Amédée de Savoie, a famous mountaineer and member of the Italian royal family. It tells the story of the Courmayeur and Vallée d'Aoste alpine guides, as well as their expeditions to India, Tibet and Africa.
