A lovely stone mountain refuge at an altitude of 1,470 m serving excellent Valle d'Aostan cuisine. By day the view of Mont Blanc and the valley is magnificent, at night the moon will illuminate the meadows of the mountain pasture. Among the dishes you must try are one of the six types of polenta with local sausages, ham rolls with melted cheese and apples, and veal escalope alla valdostana, breaded and gratinated with ham and mozzarella. For dessert, the honey and cream glazed chestnuts are devilish. Nice range of local wines.

Posto più che consigliato per chi vuole mangiare ottima cucina locale in un ambiente familiare curato e molto suggestivo. Non posso che consigliarlo!

Cibo ottimo. Servizio molto cordiale, ma in po' alla buona per diversi motivi. Ambiente carino e caldo, tipico da montagna ma forse un po' datato: sarebbe da rinnovare per dare una ventata di freschezza. Ottima la polentina con lardo di arnad e vino les cretes. Ad ogni modo mi sono trovato bene e ci ritornerei.

Bella baita ..ed ottimo ristorante... Il servizio sempre attento e curato. .. cenare in veranda molto bello .... Il panorama sulle alpi unico.

Perla non troppo distante da Courmayeur, facile da raggiungere, ma incastonata tra i boschi, nei pessi di una via per le ciaspole. Piatti tipici valdostani. Ottima la zuppa dell'eremita. Per i fortunati che prenotano in anticipo vi è la possibilità di riservare un tavolo i una piccola e dedicata veranda con paesaggio a 180°.
