Ottimo hotel, ottimi servizi, ottimo personale.

Ottima scelta per trascorrere bellissime giornate lontano dalla città, una vera oasi di relax. Abbiamo incontrato subito alla reception, persone meravigliose disponibili e gentili, altrettanto il personale del ristorante sempre sorridente e gentile pronto a servire e accontentare. Ma quello che mi ha lasciato un bellissimo ricordo è la spa di questo albergo o meglio, il personale, che è molto preparato, oltre ad essere sempre disponibile, molto alla mano, ho fatto delle belle conversazioni, ricevendo risposte molto professionali alle mie domande. Ho ricevuto un massaggio di terapia craniosacrale eseguito da Daniele. Daniele mi ha guardato e mi ha detto: "lei signora ha dei blocchi che possiamo sciogliere con questo massaggio" Per chi non lo sa, la terapia craniosacrale è una terapia che fa bene a tutti indipendentemente dall'età, persino alle donne incinte e ai bebè, rafforza il sistema immunitario e guarisce l'anima. Daniele è una persona meravigliosa ma sopratutto è un umano, è quella persona che sa "leggerti" dentro, una persona dotata di un grande intuito. Aveva ragione Daniele...dopo il massaggio che poi non è proprio un massaggio, avevo lasciato andare grossi pesi che me li portavo dietro da anni, o meglio da altre vite. Mi sarebbe piaciuto farne almeno un altra seduta ma la partenza ormai era vicina, fra qualche ora stavo per partire. Ritornerò di sicuro qui, dove ho incontrato delle persone stupende, meravigliose, e certo anche dei bei posti per fare lunghe passeggiate, la montagna è affascinante. Ogni volta succede cosi, quando parti qualcosa di te rimane in quel posto e qualcosa di queste speciali persone ti accompagna per il resto della tua vita. Ringrazio Daniele per avermi aiutato, ringrazio a tutto lo staff di questo bel albergo per il soggiorno meraviglioso. Grazie????

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gran Baita on a half-board basis through a Tui ski holiday.

Room - our family room (for 3) was big enough and lots of storage, always clean and reset each day. Complimentary water in a small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities (but no milk or creamer).

Spa - clean, relaxing, and well appointed. Robes, towels, slippers, and flip flops all provided.

Communal areas - always clean and tidy, lots of smaller areas designated for relaxing, reading, etc. Bar manager was on point the entire stay. Snacks of crisps, nuts, and breads brought with drinks in the evening. Drinks weren't inexpensive but comparable to anywhere else in the resort. Piano player offering entertainment each evening for pre or post-dinner times.

Restaurant - buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, anything you could want for breakfast (within reason). Fresh cutting loaves could do with being replenished as often these were small end pieces left if you arrived a little later (maybe a mamma or pappa arrived early to make a sneaky takeaway lunch ????‍♀️) You also need to ask for coffees etc to be brought out to you, the waiting staff don't often come with this option, although it's not a problem at all and included with breakfast. Restaurant - evening dinner is a 4 course meal with a choice of 2 antipasti, 4 primi, 4 secondi and 2 desserts. We could always choose something we fancied, as could our 16 year old son, but he enjoys a wide variety of foods. We did see children being served a children's menu, so it might be worth enquiring. The food was delicious always.

Restaurant - staff were brilliant and more relaxed around us after a few days. They work very hard under the watchful eye of a Maître d’ who ensures everything is running smoothly and properly. We were mostly served by a young lady from Scilly who loves fish(!) we thought she was great ???? but all the serving staff are very good.

Transport - nothing was too much for Marco, the hotel shuttle driver. Free shuttle trips to the cable cars at Courmayeur, Dolonne and Monte Bianco, rides into town and other local journeys. Excellent bonus, which was much appreciated by tired ski legs at times! ????

The hotel, facilities, and staff deserve the 5* rating.
