TURN OF THE BOW
Tour in the center of Morgex, one of the oldest in the Aosta Valley.
Located in the centre of Morgex, the Archet Tower has four sides, each 9 m long and 2.6 m thick. Built at the end of the 10th century, it is one of the oldest in the Aosta Valley. It is part of a lower building, still square, which has kept its medieval walls and a stone door. On the architrave is a double arch in brace. The tower took the name of the Valle d'Aostan family who lived there in the 12th century. Today, the building houses the Bibliomusée de la Bande dessinée and a library.
