As the cross-country skiing capital of the Aosta Valley (a title sometimes disputed by Saint-Barthélémy), Cogne really does offer a large number of routes of varying difficulty and suitable for all levels. Most itineraries start at the Saint-Ours meadow cross-country home; other secondary loops leave from Lillaz, Gimillan and Epinel. Trails range from 3 to 45 km, the latter being Cogne's signature, where the annual MarciaGranParadiso competition is held. Also an alpine ski resort with three lifts.
