From the hamlet of Praz de Saint-Barthélémy, take the almost level dirt track that runs along the bottom of the valley through pastures and wooded areas. After the crossroads leading to the tiny Champlaisant church (well worth a visit!), continue on to the hamlet of La Servaz, where Refuge Magià awaits you.

Departure from Saint-Barthélémy - Nus at an altitude of 1,889 meters. Arrival at Tsa de Fontaney, at 2,304 meters. Elevation gain: 415 m. Duration: approx. 1h30.
From the hamlet of Porliod in Saint-Barthélémy, take the dirt track that quickly leads to the cross-country ski hostel, where a sign indicates trail 11B to the Cuney refuge. Follow this route, which first climbs through an attractive coniferous wood, then leads through vast, green pastures to the Tsa de Fontaney (beaconno. 11 ). From here, the panorama extends from nearby Mount Faroma, Col Salvé and Mount Riond to the Monte Rosa massif, La Grivola and Mount Emilius. Finally, for those who wish to climb even higher, continue along the same path to the Cuney plateau, where you'll find both the little chapel of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges and the Cuney refuge.
