This large ski area boasts almost 180 km of ski runs, spread over three valleys (Lys, Ayas, Valsesia) and four slopes. The very high average altitude (between 1,650 and 3,275 meters, with the vast majority of runs above 2,000 m) ensures excellent snow cover right up to the end of April. What's more, the Piedmont side of Alagna is known as the "Freeride paradise", with one of the largest off-piste areas in the Italian Alps. The view of the nearby Monte Rosa glaciers is breathtaking.
