WALSER ECOMUSEUM
Ecomuseum consisting of a rural house, a museum presenting the history of mountaineering and a farm in Gressoney.
Located on the main square, it consists of three buildings:
The Purohus or "Rural House", a pretty typical building. A guided tour explains the role of the different rooms in the houses of the past, including the stable-house, the hayloft with the traditional tools
The Potschhus or "Museum House" presents the history of mountaineering and the refuges, the evolution of glaciers and the traditional costume of the valley;
The Binò Alpelté mountain pasture, a few minutes' walk away, is a farmhouse carved into a rock and can only be visited in summer.
