This restaurant is an old railwaymen's canteen, a meeting place for employees of the nearby Stazione Centrale. Today, it serves tasty cuisine based on the culinary traditions of various Italian regions, such as spaghetti with sardines or goose in prune sauce. Special mention goes to the cheeses and charcuterie. The address is also famous for its Art Nouveau setting, in particular the Salle Liberty, a large function room that hosts monthly tango evenings.

Una presentazione privata di un libro, con lunch. Ho apprezzato moltissimo la qualità del cibo, con un risotto alla milanese di alto rango. Il servizio veloce ed attento, e un locale da cui mancavo da almeno una ventina d'anni ma che, piacevolmente riscoperto, mi vedrà sicuramente tornare!

Buon posto ma nulla di che: siamo arrivati alle 20:30, antipasto servito quasi subito ma poi son passati 45 minuti prima di avere il primo, un po' troppo. Porzioni rivedibili, qualità non eccelsa. Posizione ottima.
