A quality Japanese restaurant and at the same time a pastry shop, here is Basara's formula which combines Japanese pastry with sushi. A successful recipe with oriental delicacies such as tender daifuku (sweet dumplings with red beans, chocolate...), small and colourful nerikiri made from white bean paste, but also individual portions of green tea or black sesame tiramisù. Innovative, the possibility of having a "sushi" aperitif, where nighiri, hosomaki and sushi rolls accompany beer, cocktail or a glass of wine.

Nella media. Una volta era considerato uno dei migliori giapponesi di Milano (alcuni addirittura lo descrivevano come "all'avanguardia") ma per quanto mi riguarda qui di straordinario c'è ben poco. Niente che non si possa trovare in ormai quasi tutti i sushi di Milano: cibo buono, ma nessun piatto particolarmente elaborato o creativo. Anzi: abbastanza basilare. Dolci non buonissimi: quelli che abbiamo preso noi erano molto freddi e mancavano di gusto. Prezzo ovviamente alto, assolutamente ingiustificato.
