A restaurant close to one of the most characteristic sites of Naviglio Grande, an antique th-century washing house. Set in a former soap shop, the name designates in Milan the wooden axis used by the blanchisseuses who went to the washing machine. The romantic atmosphere provides the restaurant with a very intimate atmosphere. The interior features four rooms on two floors, with a tasteful and old décor.

Ho prenotato (5 giorni fa) un tavolo per 4 persone , dal quale mi avevano assicurato (Elisa) ci sarebbe stata la vista sul Naviglio.
Arrivati ci siamo ritrovati assegnato un tavolo interno perchè il nostro era stato erroneamente dato ad altri clienti.
Nonostante con vista sul Naviglio ci fosse libero un tavolo per 6 persone, non hanno ritenuto opportuno assegnarcelo, rimediando cosi al proprio errore, per non rinunciare a 2 posti.
La beffa, per loro, è stata che il tavolo per 6 persone è rimasto libero rendendo il cliente doppiamente insoddisfatto.
Our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt welcomed and pampered by the food and service.
The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in our mouth. Probably the best meal we had in Milan.
Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Navigli.
