A trattoria with character that has retained the style of the past. The breaded cutlet and the risotto al salto are beyond reproach.
The Trattoria Milanese certainly offers one of the best Milanese cuisine in the city. It has been run by the Villa family since 1933; the décor is warm and the atmosphere is very authentic. The streets and squares of Milan can be easily recognized in the paintings on the wall depicting the Milan of old times. Not to be missed: the Milanese chop and saffron risotto, pan-fried and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The dessert trolley is a real temptation to indulge, the roasted peaches and sabayon cream are simply delicious.
