Unusual setting for a Milanese restaurant that has chosen to live in a pretty mansion house from the early 1900s, surrounded by a large terrace overlooking a square, surrounded by the heights of the skyscrapers in the Porta Nuova district. Chef Cesare Battisti dynamically embraces the Milanese and Lombard culinary tradition, while simplifying the preparations and reworking the basics with his personal touch. The result is more than satisfactory both in terms of taste and presentation. Risotti to be discovered and a great audience.

Pima volta al ristorante per un pranzo importante. L'ottima impressione avuta in fase di prenotazione (consigli, dritte, disponibilità, professionalità) si è confermata all'atto pratico. Ottima cucina, basata su eccellenti materie prime e su una expertise di livello, carta dei vini di eccellente livello, servizio eccellente, curato, amichevole e professionale allo stesso tempo, un conto che mi ha positivamente sorpreso, interni curati e molto simpatici, uno spazio giochi per i piccoli ospiti bene attrezzato e ben tenuto: insomma, una esperienza positiva al 100%. Complimenti!

The service here was fantastic, really attentive staff without being overbearing.
The tables are located quite close together impacting upon the atmosphere given the table next to us was having a loud conversation.
The food was good! We particularly enjoyed the starter/while you wait dish carrot hummus as pictured.

everything was so good. the bread, the olive oil, the vegetables in the salad were some of the freshest i’ve had, and the risotto was just packed with refinement. wish i went many more times during my visit

Risotto al midollo strepitoso e carpaccio di trota eccezionale. Anche gli altri commensali hanno apprezzato moltissimo tutto il cibo con piatti sia di carne che di pesce. Prezzi abbastanza alti, ma qualità eccellente. Il vino che abbiamo scelto era un po’ caro, buono ma non speciale. Dolci anch’essi ok, ma non speciali e cari. Atmosfera piacevole, bella la zona e l’edificio.
