Milan's street-food temple, Giannasi's kiosk, has been open since 1967. Its mondeghili are a must-taste!
The silhouette of Giannasi's kiosk has become a familiar sight to residents of the Porta Romana district. Since 1967, this unusual merchant has been selling the city's most delicious roast chicken. Marinated in olive oil and spices overnight - once tasted, you'll find it hard to swallow any more... In the tradition of old-fashioned street food, Giannasi also offers fried dishes, lasagne, risotti and mondeghili (typical Milanese meatballs). To take away and enjoy in a sunny park.

Usually, it is crowded and u have to stay in line but it does not take much to wait. The quality and taste of the food are good. Also there are variety of food. At the same time the portions are enough. The staff are nice and friendly. The prices are reasonable. It is better to go with public transport. There is the but 65 passing it and the metro yellow line, close to it. Stop Porta Romana.
