This former neighbourhood dairy had the brilliant idea of installing some cutlery in its tiny shop. Every lunchtime, we jostle each other in the two rooms with tiled walls, but for a good reason: the vegetarian dishes based on seasonal vegetables and dairy products are a real explosion of flavours. And while you're enjoying a dish of herb lasagne or grilled cheese, notice the prints and photos that evoke the Milan of yesteryear, when the city lived to the rhythm of its canals, the Navigli.

Nous sommes revenus plusieurs fois dans ce petit restaurant traditionnel super bien situé pas très loin du Duomo et offrant des plats italiens de grande qualité. Les portions sont très correctes et les plats très savoureux, surtout les aubergines à la parmiggiana. Il y a beaucoup de choix (pâtes, risottos, spécialités à base de légumes) avec un prix vraiment correct. On adore!

Même s'il est aisé de trouver des plats végétariens en Italie (un plat de pâtes ou une pizza), l'Alla Vecchia Latteria est un VRAI restaurant végétarien avec un menu complet et des plats de très bonne qualité. Le service est impeccable et il existe un menu en anglais : pratique. On est un peu serrés mais du coup c'est l'occasion de faire de belles rencontres.
