The Navigli flows peacefully at the foot of this traditional house transformed into a beautiful 4-star hotel. Charm and comfort.

Maison Borella is one of the few hotels overlooking the charming Navigli! The place is superbly appointed in an old ^18th-century baluster house that retains much of its character. The lounge area is cosy and welcoming. You'll be tempted to read a book between two visits to the town. The rooms are refined, decorated with care. As for breakfast, it lives up to expectations: varied and excellent. For maximum privacy, you can opt for the sublime independent rooms...

This is right on the canal at the center of Navigli nightlife. The local restaurants and bars are very noisy even during the week until about 12:00 midnight. Wednesdays they pick up trash and recycling, starting with glass (the noisiest) at 6:30. If your priority is sleep, don't take a canal view room. The breakfast was excellent, everything anyone would want. Even the fresh fruit, although not cut up, was perfectly ripe. Service was excellent, friendly. The bed was comfortable, nice sheets, the shower was excellent, the decoration was a bit lacking (grey painted desk and night stands, glaring lights). I found the room too warm at night and couldn't find a way to adjust that with the thermostat but I never asked the front desk, I just opened the window (until 6:30). There was no secondary lock on the door so I placed some heavy shoes such that they would make a noise if the door was opened.

Wonderful Hotel wonderful Location Wonderful Staff. Having a glass of wine near the channel Navigli is a lifetime experience. Walking to Duomo by 2.2 km is also good. Recommend to everyone visiting Milano.

We had a wonderful stay here— the hotel is charming and in a great location! During our stay I accidentally left a necklace of great sentimental importance to us— we called after we left frantic and worried. The team at the hotel was amazing and helped ensure we could get it back! The staff was lovely and aside from the beautiful hotel and great stay— we feel so fortunate they were willing to help us get my necklace back!
