We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had a terrace room on the first floor. The terrace is quite sizeable but I did not love the turf floor. I think they should replace it with tiles. The shower wasn't great, it was a bathtub with a small plastic wall thing. Other than those two points everything was excellent. Appreciated the abundance of free water and the complimentary mini bar. The included breakfast buffet was served in a beautiful room with a lot of variety, excellent coffee, lots of fresh fruit and delicious pastries, breads, cakes, etc. The Nutella pump for the pancakes looked fun even though I didn't try it. The service was excellent from all the staff. Location cannot be beat. It is on a quiet street about a 5-minute walk from the Duomo.

Séjour très agréable. Chambre confortable, propre et calme. Excellent accueil avec verre de Prosecco offert tous les soirs.

Short answer : I definitely will stay at Gran Duca Di York again if I come back to Milan. Go somewhere else if you are looking for high scale luxurious hotels. Gran Duca Di York is everything more than I would have expected for a 3-star hotel. First of all, staff are very nice, courteous and helpful. The breakfast is excellent with hot and cold food and pastries and excellent fresh fruits. The room offers all soft drinks and sparkling water or juice free . Evening Prosecco welcomes you every night.
The shower is roomy and nice. Bath robe and slippers for you to enjoy the room. The bed and blankets are very comfy and firm to my liking. This location is 5 min walk to the Duomo and metro. 10 min walk to the castle. And of course the shopping district is all close by.

Nice and Small hotel very close to Duomo, but in a quite street. Is not a luxury hotel but very good considering the location, price and the complete and kind service they have.

Hotel vicino al Duomo, situato in una zona tranquilla. La camera singola è molto accogliente, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. Colazione molto varia e buona, persona cortese e disponibile.

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait. Hôtel plus qu'accueillant, avec un personnel aux petits soins, un petit déjeuner digne d'un cinq étoiles, des petites attentions appréciables comme des bouteilles d'eau, des fruits et des petits gâteaux à disposition toute la journée gratuitement. Le calme et l'excellente localisation sont aussi des atouts majeurs. Un must !

Excellent hotel close to the Duomo, rooms were spacious ( bathroom could have been a little bigger & modern), front desk people were helpful & friendly, fantastic breakfast, Happy Hour free drink & snack, free mini bar drinks (non-alcoholic), free water in lobby. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here & would stay here again when in Milano ! Thank you for a lovely experience!

מלון גראן דוקה די יורק המקסים, לא היינו בוחרים שום מלון אחר. מיקום מצויין, שירות נהדר (בעיקר חביבותה של פקידת הקבלה סרנה המקסימה), חדרים מצויידים בשתיה חינמית במקרר, טבלת שוקולד גדולה, ברכה אישית עם פרח. חדר נקי ומצוייד בכל מה שצריך, ארוחת בוקר יפהפיה ועשירה. מומלץ בחום. פברואר 2024.

Fantastisk hotel mer centralt i Milano kan man inte komma bara 6min upp till katedralen och alt annat som finns i gamla Milano och trevlig personal .frukusten helt okej får nog säga att dom borde ha 4 stjärnor i stället
