Located in the north-east of the train station, in a slightly dark and isolated area, this hotel is really a very pleasant surprise. 19 rooms in a shady and shady pavilion. No night concierge, so consider asking the key of the entrance.

Love the excitement of paper-thin walls? Hotel Ambra is the place for you! Here, the walls are so thin, guests can enjoy every step and whisper in the stairwell as if they were right there—perfect for nocturnal symphony enthusiasts!
And let’s talk about the omnipresent scent of adventure. Even with the bathroom door shut, the mysterious fragrances from the drains ensure that guests can savor the aroma throughout their stay. Who needs scented candles when you have the essence of Ambra wafting through the air?
But that's not all! Discover the unexpected art left behind in the showers by previous guests—yes, we're talking about an assortment of creatively deposited nasal relics. It adds a personal touch to each shower experience, truly a gallery of the unexpected!
The pièce de résistance, however, is the beds. These aren’t just any beds; they are masterclasses in the art of discomfort. Designed at a daring 90-degree angle, they promise not just sleep but an all-night battle against back pain. Each twist and turn is a reminder that you are alive, and probably very awake. And if that's not enough, the frequent, loud hissing from the heating system will surely keep you from feeling too rested.
The bathrooms are a sight to behold, in need of a good renovation, featuring a charming variety of mold and a strong sense of time travel to a less hygienic era. And if you’re a fan of tepid water, the showers offer an exhilarating lukewarm experience, steadfastly stuck at 25 degrees Celsius—it's like stepping into a mildly disappointing bath every single time!
Lastly, don’t be fooled by the pictures in the advertisement. The actual rooms are far older, more worn, and dirtier—a true testament to the hotel's rich history of neglect.
Hotel Ambra isn’t just a stay; it’s a saga. Every visit is a tale of sensory richness and spirited sleepless nights. Book your stay if you dare—the memories will last much longer than any desire to return!
