The oldest Milanese bookstore founded in 1870 by the Swiss publisher Ulrico Hoepli. The rooms now refurbished into a beautiful modern space are among the largest European bookstores. Let yourself be guided along 2 kilometers of shelves distributed by knowledgeable vendors on 6 floors to make your choice between the 500,000 works offered. By the way, take a look at the building; although a little austere, it is considered a feat of the rationalist architecture of the 1950 s (architects Figini and Poillini).
