In September, music invades theaters, auditoriums, squares, churches and private courtyards for this joint Turin-Milan festival.
The festival is a collaborative project between Milan and Turin. It offers three weeks of top-quality classical music concerts. Originally created in Turin in 1978, since 2007 it has been held in partnership with Milan, hence its current name. Auditoriums, churches, courtyards and squares transform the two cities into an immense musical parterre, where jazz and rock can also be heard. Each year, the festival attracts some 30,000 music lovers. There are also numerous shows for young audiences.
