CHIESA DI SAN FEDELE
Church of the second half of the XVI century located behind the palazzo Marino.
Behind the Palazzo Marino stands this church from the second half of the 16th century, unique in Milan. Brightly lit and enlivened by vivid colors, the Jesuit church is a prototype of Counter-Reformation architecture. Its single nave plan and high dome open up the space. On the aisles are numerous chapels: note in particular the Sacro Cuore chapel, decorated with a large bas-relief in coloured ceramic, a modern work by Lucio Fontana (1956). On the façade, statues, bas-reliefs and columns set the tone.
