Palace named after its eight large statues in the facade.

Named after the eight large statues on its façade(Omenoni, for great men), the palace was built by Leone Leoni, sculptor to Charles V and Philip II of Spain. Sadly, little remains of the original building designed by Leoni, following interventions in the 19th and 20th centuries. Only the façade remains almost intact, despite the addition of an attic and wrought-iron balconies. Inside, everything has been altered, but visitors won't hold a grudge, as the palazzo, now privately owned, is not open to the public.
