Here's a good address for a quick lunch in the Porta Romana district. Davide Longoni is well known in Milan for the quality of his slow-rising sourdough bread. For lunch, we recommend the focacce, particularly the rather original one with cabbage and pastrami. For breakfast, the croissants are very good, and the bread can also be served with butter and jam. Finally, during the festive season, Davide Longoni also offers an excellent panettone, the quintessential Milanese Christmas dessert!
