Hotel of dream, luxury and charm in a pleasant setting with beautiful views in Stressa.

This historic establishment has been delighting visitors since 1861. Hemingway stayed here and a suite is dedicated to him. Velvet and gold drapes, Murano glass chandeliers, Art Deco atmosphere in the reception room with a breathtaking view of the lake, luxury and comfort in the rooms and suites, art galleries in the corridors, wellness area, spa, all in the center of a beautiful park. Major renovation work took place in 2020.

Abbiamo fatto qui il ricevimento di nozze nell’estate 2018. Un posto magico e dal grandissimo fascino. Siamo stati trattati benissimo e tutti gli invitati sono rimasti pienamente soddisfatti! Abbiamo passato la notte nella suite Hemingway, che dire… tutto perfetto!

Hôtel somptueux, stylé, héberge des bijoux d'histoire, meubles, sculptures, tableaux, vases... Un plaisir des yeux... Ambiance feutrée, détente assurée, piscines à température rêvée , spa, sauna, etc, magnifiques !!!

Very sneaky child policy - even through you book an extra child on their website they will add a surcharge of 50eur per child. They policy is apparently somewhere hidden in the fine print. Very sneaky and the feeling remains that you pay twice for kids.
