COMMUNITY PALACE
Remarkable building on the pretty downtown square with 3 sundials
A remarkable building dating from 1582, also known as the Broletto or Palazzotto, it is the symbol of the feudal state of the San Giulio Riviera, established in the 12th century, and was the seat of local government until the mid-18th century. Its first floor is a portico with semicircular arches, surmounted by a second floor. The whole, decorated with frescoes, now unfortunately very damaged, and three sundials, which can no longer tell the time, gives this pretty little square in the town center its cachet.
