The Osteria del Beuc is a small brewery that doesn't look like much in an alleyway in the centre of Cernobbio, a few steps from the lakeside. Wooden tables, checkered tablecloths, wine in a pitcher, the setting announces the tone of a simple cuisine with abundant and very Italian flavours. Carpaccio rocket and parmesan, stuffed ravioli, pasta with meat stew and Milanese chops are just some of the dishes on offer. The wait can sometimes be a little long, it is better not to be in a hurry. Nice wine list, reservation recommended.

La peggiore esperienza mai avuta. Locale freddo tanto da dover mangiare scomodamente con il giaccone (anche il bagno è all'esterno), piatti banali e pochissima scelta, prezzi alti turistici, pagamento di ben € 3 a persona di coperto senza nemmeno esserci una tovaglia....
Nei miei viaggi ne ho girati di locali, ma questo di "osteria" non ha veramente nulla.
Un posto che mette in menù la polenta, e non la propone nemmeno nella versione tradizionale con carne e sugo..ma anzi, la propone con le uova o fiumi di burro.
Capisco che il turista nordico mangi anche il tovagliolo facendoselo andare bene, e soprattutto non ho mai fatto una recensione negativa in vita mia, ma questa volta è stata un'esperienza talmente negativa che penso sia giusto mettere al corrente altri ignari italiani come me che passano da Cernobbio e vorrebbero mangiare qualcosa di gradevole nel paesino.
Che dire, una spiacevole delusione totale, mai più.

Locale simpatico. Servizio pronto ed efficiente. Il miglior risotto col persico MAI mangiato sul lago di Como. Il prezzo è migliorabile (parere personale).

Used to be amazing but now it’s become extremely overpriced and its rustic character feels completely out of place. You pay €15-€18 for a tiny pasta primo (think last nights leftover sauce), €20-30 for a second (think very thin slice of meat with….. only boiled cauliflower as the side ????) + some dry bread + extra € coperto + € water / wine. The jig is up! If serving extremely simple home-style food, better go back to charging suitable prices. Otherwise it’s just another Lake Como tourist trap (without even a scenic view), which the area is unfortunately already saturated with. Don’t recommend any more at all, sorry.
