It's now five generations since the windows of the Sartoria (fashion house) opened along Via Regina, in the heart of Cernobbio. Encouraged by the region's elite tourists, Pietro Orefice began his dressmaking business in 1856. From a small workshop, the Orefice house has dressed many crowned heads, as well as leading figures in politics, business and cinema. Today, the Orefice family continues this tradition of excellence, respecting the rules of hand-crafted, made-to-measure production.
