In the heart of Menaggio, an excellent little brasserie, where regional specialities are served with a smile and in abundance. Gourmet cheese boards, cold meats and bruschette to whet the appetite, tasty primi just like at grandma's, and meats and fish we can't fault. Polenta (a cornmeal-based porridge) is never in short supply, often served with traditional missolitini (preserved fish dried under salt). Terrace for fine weather.

Waited for 20minutes for 2 but was worth the wait.
Had our best pasta Alla vongole from our Italian vacation and the specialties were good for a try : Missoltini with polenta were good but a bit too salty. Special mention for polenta that was very creamy and tasty!
Didn't have time to come here for apero time but the couple at the table next to us looked pretty happy with their wine, cheese and cured ham.
Their small terrasse is also lovely for having a summer diner.
