In the small hamlet of Pescallo a cosy restaurant with a lovely gazebo overlooking the lake. The kitchen pays tribute to lacustrine specialities: fish grill according to the fishing of the day. 11 single but characteristic rooms.

It's bizarre that this beautiful old building in such a stunning location should be run so grudgingly. Some individual staff members did their best but the management treat the guests as an inconvenience. Why have the restaurant closed at the height of the season? Breakfast was quite skimpy (cheapest ham and cheese, croissants run out quickly). Indifferent coffee. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the view is lovely. But what a waste. Someone with interest/experience in the hospitality business (clue in the name) please take this place over and run it properly.
