Park with decorative elements purchased by Alessandro Serbelloni in Bellagio.

The villa was built in 1605 and in 1778 it was bought by Alessandro Serbelloni, who helped to enrich the villa and the vast garden. He created a park with decorative elements and added new species of trees and flowers. In 1930 an American princess bought the villa and in 1959 it was donated to the Rockefeller Foundation of New York, which turned it into a study and conference centre. From the villa's promontory, there is a panoramic view of the lake. Its garden is one of the most beautiful in Italy, rich in secular, rare and exotic plants.

Great place to see the beautiful landscape of the Lakes of Como and lecco. The Park hosts the artists that won the concourse of rockfeller foundation. Petra the guide is very good and she speaks well in English French and italian
