A small old-fashioned hotel, with its reception counter with hanging keys, its woodwork that smells like shoe polish and its rooms with an old-fashioned charm. We like its location in the heart of the hamlet of Pescarenico, where everything reminds us of the novel The Betrothed of Manzoni. It is considered one of the most important works of Italian literature. It tells the complicated story of the two fiancés, Renzo and Lucia, against the historical backdrop of Lombardy in the 17th century. Note the prints that decorate the rooms of the hotel: they are scenes from the novel.

Le nostra camera al secondo piano senza ascensore era totalmente da rifare, bagno improponibile con ruggine nella vasca, la moquette vetusta e rattoppata, piccola con terrazzino con vista parziale mal curato.
Colazione con poca varietà.
Certamente il prezzo di 105 euro non è meritato.
P.S. Si prega i gestori di mettere le foto reali delle camere.
Klimatyzacja w pokoju działa i spełnia swoją rolę. Śniadania, bez ciepłej potrawy i warzyw, ale zawsze ze świeżych produktów i smaczne. Wspaniała lokalizacja nad rzeką łączącą jeziora i w sąsiedztwie dwóch dobrych restauracji. Do centrum Lecco około 25 minut spacerem brzegiem jeziora.
Hotel silenzioso, lontano dal traffico, che negli anni ha saputo rinnovarsi (la camera è completamente rinnovata); personale squisito; colazione abbondante e ben presentata. Tornerò senz’altro!
