MUSA - MUSEO DI SALO
The museum is located in an old convent in the center of Salo.
Housed in the grounds of a former convent in the city center, this museum, inaugurated in 2015, collects and celebrates the history of Salò from antiquity to the present day. Several thematic sections display different collections, including a collection of drawings by contemporary authors, 19th-century paintings and a fine collection of illuminations from the Middle Ages. In the section dedicated to the 600 days of the Salò Republic (1943), archives and eyewitness accounts help us to understand this particularly controversial period in Italian history.
