Cathedral nestled between the historic center of Salo and the port.
Nestled between the historic centre of Salo and the port, the Duomo di Santa Maria Annunziata was built in the 15th century in late Gothic style. The interior is superb and there are important works of art to be seen, including a large polyptych dating from 1510, as well as other beautiful works by Moretto and Romanino, painters of the Brescia school. A visit that is highly recommended if you can, and that does not require a lot of time either, so ideal.
