FORTUNY
Incredibly beautiful fabrics in the colours of the lagoon; a visit to the Giudecca's workshop alone is worth the detour.
On the banks of the Giudecca River, the Fortuny factory has been standing majestically in Venice since it opened in the 1920s. One enters here as in a museum so much the fabrics are precious. You let your eyes wander from one fantasy to another, between the delicate nuances of the tones whose manufacturing secret is jealously guarded. And even if you don't plan to spend €300 a meter on curtains, a visit to Fortuny is not too much to take in the refinement of Venetian know-how in a unique setting.
