The Hotel Santa Chiara is housed in an ancient monastery with a 500-year history. The 4-star establishment distills a demanding level of comfort and a service that is quite unique in Venice, as it allows guests to arrive by car. The 39 rooms are luxuriously decorated in Venetian style. The welcome is excellent. The hotel also boasts a bar area and breakfast room, with a fabulous view of the Grand Canal. Owner's Message
The area of Piazzale Roma is the meeting place of two worlds. Venice and the mainland, and Hotel Santa Chiara is the synthesis of this meeting: one door on the street and the other on the water.
From the square you enter through a small courtyard in front of the hotel hall, rich in flowers and where the sound of a fountain will welcome you. The ideal place to relax during the hottest time of the year!
When you enter you will discover a perfect Venetian style: the attention is captured by the numerous Murano glass chandeliers, the prestigious fabrics and the antique furniture.
On your right is the reception and on your left a small lounge. Continuing on you will find the bar and the breakfast room, both facing the Grand Canal and the very Venetian Fondamenta di Santa Chiara.
Exiting through the door on the canal you will discover an ancient but also modern world: the "cars" float on the water, the rhythms change, the sounds and the scents are different.
A hundred meters from the main building is our dependency, the Residenza Parisiof 1st category. The 12 rooms of this annex are new, decorated with muted colors and are very spacious.
