L’hotel Pausania si trova in posizione strategica tra la Stazione, Piazzale Roma, Piazza San Marco e Rialto rendendo possibile qualsiasi tipo di spostamento a piedi a Venezia.

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La camera quadrupla è perfetta per chi ha due bambini, perché è dotata di una piccola nicchia con 2 letti singoli oltre al grande letto matrimoniale.

Abbiamo trovato l’ambiente molto curato e pulito, la stanza sembrava da poco ristrutturata e il servizio preciso e cordiale.

Sebbene non ci sia l’ascensore non abbiamo trovato particolarmente scomode le scale che, anzi, consentono di ammirare il grande soggiorno del secondo piano e tutto l’edificio
In stile veneziano. Certo, non è consigliato per chi ha grandi valigie, ma direi in generale tutta Venezia è scomoda se si hanno bagagli ingombranti.

La colazione non è strabiliante ma tutto sommato assolutamente accettabile per un tre stelle.

Infine la zona in cui si trova il Pausania è estremamente silenziosa pur essendo piuttosto vivace con tantissime osterie e locali tipici nel vicino Campo Santa Margherita oppure in Calle Longa de San Barnaba e proprio di fronte il Venice Jazz Club.

Esperienza che consiglio vivamente per chi vuole fermarsi una o più notti a Venezia.

Awful! This is the best word to descscribe this hotel. We ended in a room where you can clearly touch ceiling (around 1,95). Room is totally claustrophobic, with the moldy walls, without carpet, with cold ceramic tile on the floor. Room cannot be locked either inside or outside, which bring safety to the poorest ever seen level. Receptionist totally arrogant.

Hotel excelente ! Tal cual se ve en más fotos, personal de recepción muy profesional, habitación correcta y limpia, ubicación perfecta.
Sin dudarlo volveremos y lo recomiendo al 100%.

Wir waren vier Tage dort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen .
Zimmer sind zwar etwas klein , aber für einen Städtetrip absolut ausreichend .
Sauberkeit und Angestellte sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend .
Danke an den netten Herrn an der Rezeption für den Taxi-Tip und Bestellung dessen : - ) .
Das Hotel liegt ziemlich zentral und alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen.
Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Slightly off the beaten track ( or at least I think) rooms on the compact side, staff very nice and helpful. Lots of character and the breakfast is great value.

Nice service. Good location between transit area and downtown. Has AC and a nice courtyard. Rooms however are quite small, smell of old carpet/furniture. Decent but not great.

Beautiful old building right on the canal. Our room was upgraded, so we had a view of the water. Large room with a nice bathroom. De Longhi coffee maker in the room. Beautiful continental breakfast. We were able to walk to our tour meeting point. Many nice restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend.

Hôtel très beau, et personnel charmant.
Une belle chambre spacieuse d’époque.
Mais salle de bain pas fonctionnel, une baignoire mais qu’on peut que remplir par le pommeau qui coule à deux à l’heure. Robinet du lavabo qui ne tient pas en position ouverte.
Quartier très charmant à environ 15-20minutes de la place saint marc

Great hotel in Venice. Right in the heart of a nice community. No more than 15 min walk from all the sights, but away from the crazy crowds. Very peaceful. Nearby square has a market boat, couple of cafe's and of coarse gelato.
